Home Mission
Monday night mission – Every Monday night we minister, pray and teach the Word of God on a weekly basis to the less fortunate, homeless or anyone who comes in to hear the Word of God. We provide clothing, hot meals, and non-perishable foods. We provide coats, clothing and shoes, for those in need. We also deliver care packages and soup to the sick and shut in.
Narcotics Anonymous – Thursday night sessions (7:00 p.m.) are open for men, women and family members to share their experience, and to gain strength from their experiences. The Tuesday night session (7:00 p.m.) is for men only where men share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may maintain sobriety. This ministry also provides referrals to rehabilitation programs for those who desire additional assistance.
Nursing home ministry – We provide spiritual worship services at the Jay street nursing home every 4th Friday of the month. We also visit residents at bed-side for encouragement and have prayer. During the holidays we provide gifts bags to help lift the residents during the season.
Evangelism ministry – We visit women who are in prison every 4th Sunday of the month and visit the Essex County Youth house every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month to ministers the Word of God. We also hold street crusades.
Hospital/Home Visitation ministry – Ministry staff visit the sick and pray with members in the hospital and their homes.
Social Service ministry – this ministry provides information for various needs such as food assistance, emergency shelters for the homeless, housing assistance, unemployment, welfare assistance, food stamp assistance, rental and utility assistance, Home health aides and pharmaceutical assistance.
